  • Shuttle Service: The Inn provides round-trip transportation to Biltmore House and Amherst at Deerpark. Please note, estate-wide shuttle service is not available, and walking between estate locations is not recommended due to distances.

Flying In
For our out-of-town guests who will be flying in, the most convenient airport is Asheville Regional Airport (AVL), located just 15 miles from the Biltmore Estate.

From the airport, travel to the Biltmore is easy:

  • By car: The estate is a quick 25-minute drive via I-26 and US-25 N.

  • Rideshare services: Both Uber and Lyft operate in the area for convenient transportation.

  • Rental cars: Available at the airport for those who prefer to explore Asheville during their stay.

If you’re flying into a larger hub, Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) and Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) are both within a 2-hour drive of Asheville.

We recommend arriving early to enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the charm of Asheville and the Biltmore.

The Biltmore Estate

We are delighted to offer our wedding guests complimentary access to the Biltmore Estate grounds starting two hours before the ceremony. Please note that admission to Biltmore House requires a separate ticket, but you may explore the estate for free before the wedding ceremony. There are a multitude of activities the Biltmore Estate offers below:

Christmas at Biltmore

Beginning November 1st, Biltmore transforms into a holiday wonderland with festive decorations throughout the estate. Guests can enjoy:

  • Daytime House Visits (Ticket Purchase Required) - Experience the grandeur of Biltmore House adorned with elaborate Christmas décor. Advance reservations are required for all Biltmore House visits.

  • Candlelight Christmas Evenings (Ticket Purchase Required) - Step back in time to 1895 during these special evening tours, where Biltmore House is illuminated by candlelight, featuring live holiday music and the scent of fresh pine. Candlelight tickets include daytime admission to estate grounds, including Antler Hill Village & Winery, gardens, shops, and restaurants.

For guests arriving before the wedding day, Biltmore offers a variety of activities to enhance your visit to Asheville:

  • Guided Tours: Explore the estate with knowledgeable guides through various tours, including the Rooftop Tour and the Biltmore House Backstairs Tour.

  • Arrival Time: Allow at least 30 minutes for travel and parking between estate locations, as the estate spans over 8,000 acres.

  • Attire: Wear comfortable shoes and dress in layers appropriate for the season and planned activities.
